Mombasa 2006
In October 2006 at a British Council conference in Mombasa, Derek Mead from Wales, Erald Moshy from Tanzania and Nnana Seitshiro from Botswana made the first contacts which would develop into the BOTAWA partnership under the Connecting Classrooms scheme.
Although Nnana has retired and Derek has moved on to another school the partnership has been sustained through the efforts of the 9 schools and there have been 18 exchange trips and 105 teacher exchanges between 2006 and 2018.
